The National Capital Area (NCA) Chapter of APMP, the largest U.S. Chapter, today announced the return of their annual Mid-Atlantic Conference & Expo, October 18th at the Westin – Arlington National Gateway. This full-day event features presentations by proposal and business development professionals and is attended by up to 300 like-minded people focused on networking, developing their skills and advancing their careers.

NCA is now soliciting creative, presentations that appeal to forward-thinking attendees working in business development, capture management and proposal professional environments.

NCA invites proposal, business development, and capture professionals to submit their abstracts and bios, including:
- Presentation title
- Speaker name, title, and contact information
- Speaker bio (up to 200 words – include your current title/employer, APMP or other certifications, education and what makes you an expert on the presented topic)
- Format of presentation (presentation, panel, round table discussion, workshop, etc.)
- Presentation Abstract (up to 200 words – include what you believe the audience will learn from attending your presentation)
Registration Fee Waived
The conference registration fee will be waived for presenters. Meals will be provided during the conference. Travel and expenses will not be covered. The Program Committee will evaluate submissions based on the following criteria:
- Abstract quality
- Format diversity
- Content appeal
- Speaker expertise on the presented topic
