Annual Conference

Coordinates the APMP-NCA Mid-Atlantic Conference & Expo, the region’s largest industry event. Provides training and skill-building for proposal and business development professionals.

Jobs include: Program planning, speaker selection, logistics, registration, exhibitor support, and event promotion.

Corporate Partner Program

Manages the Corporate Partner Program, developing levels, benefits, and fees. Works closely with partners to provide membership value and ensure benefit delivery.

Jobs include: Promotion, outreach, partner coordination, supporting corporate partners at events, and managing the partner Expo at the annual conference.

Blog - Pens Down

Plans, schedules, and coordinates publication of the chapter’s Pens Down blog, also part of the email newsletter.

Jobs include: Topic planning, article solicitation, managing contributors and workflows, working with advertisers and publishers, editing, and distribution coordination.

Marketing

Works across committees to promote chapter events and programs through graphics, content, email blasts, and social media.

Jobs include: Using platforms like Hootsuite and MailChimp, creating compelling visuals, repurposing content across channels, and collaborating with the team.

Membership

Develops and implements recruitment and retention plans, supports members navigating registration, and performs outreach at events.

Jobs include: Corporate outreach, new member follow-up, cross-chapter liaison, event support, administrative duties, and tracking membership metrics.

Professional Development

Creates programs supporting mentorship, scholarships, and APMP certification initiatives. Coordinates with APMP Education and Certification Chairs and other chapters.

Jobs include:Matching mentors and protégés, planning events, coordinating trainings, tracking certifications and CEUs, and publicizing earned credits.

Plans and manages networking and education events complementing the speaker series and annual conference.

Technology

Oversees chapter technology needs, including website, email, corporate assets library, and conferencing tools. Continuously evaluates new tech solutions.

Jobs include: Testing and selecting technology, maintaining the website, and serving as system administrator for tools like G Suite and LinkedIn/Facebook groups.
