About the position
Aerial Applications is seeking a full-time Technical Government Proposal Writer to translate solutions into effective business proposals. The major task of this position is to analyze various business products and services and coordinate proposal development.
We are a rapidly growing company and plenty of opportunities for career development as you grow with us. This position is located at Aerial Application’s headquarters in Washington, DC. Must be willing to travel to our office in Austin, TX. Remote work is also allowed for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities
●Technical government proposal writing and editing, including persuasive writing and grant writing.
●Writing and tracking complex, technical proposal projects.
●Draft, edit, and polish proposals (or similar) to ensure accuracy, consistency and company win strategies.
●Will conduct, organize, and analyze research, including competitor research.
●Review and analysis of RFP to extract proposal/document requirements.
●Ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance.
●Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communications, Computer Science, or related field
●Two (2) or more years of grant/proposal/RFP/Legislative experience.
●Experience writing contracts for government agencies including DoD
●Ability to incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders throughout contract writing process.
●Experience using GovWin
●Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite
●Must have the ability to meet hard deadlines and prioritize work
