The Proposal Manager will co-ordinate and produce the proposal (RFI, PPQ, ITT, RFP etc.) response. Responsibilities include the introduction and implementation of all necessary proposal procedures and governance. The Proposal Manager is ultimately responsible for the overall process of the proposal. This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines.

The Proposal Manager will create and continue to follow a Proposal Workflow by reviewing each solicitation, creating an analysis, creating duties and responsibilities, creating a timeline and monitoring deadlines to ensure the successful submission of each proposal. Will further assign responsibility and monitor progress. The Proposal Manager will be experienced in scheduling and running proposal kick-off meetings, leading storyboarding sessions, facilitating key review meetings / final document review, coordinating proposal governance / sign off, document production, and delivery of the completed proposal.

Duties & Responsibilities:
-Delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer defined timeframes.
-Coordinate and review / edit proposal input from a variety of stakeholders.
-Communicate and influence at a senior level to Stakeholders and Project Manager
-Ability to coach law clerks or support teams in persuasive writing and proposal best practice.
-Proposal automation software (or similar) experience.
-Document template management in line with company branding.
-Researching, writing, and organizing information in a professional and credible manner.
-Reviewing products, services, and/or business ideas.
-Creating strategies for convincing others to take appropriate action.
-Identifying opportunities for proposal writing.
-Prioritizing responsibilities to meet deadlines.
-Editing and revising proposals according to feedback.
-Maintaining consistency in proposal writing by following company policies.
-Giving presentations to the executive board.

-A Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English, or related field required.
-Three (3) years of previous experience in proposal writing required.
-Must be a US Citizen
-Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
-Strong working knowledge of word processing software.
-Excellent computer and organizational skills, as well as attention to detail.
-Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to meet deadlines.
-Good strategic planning abilities

-Communicate effectively in writing.
-Strong time management / prioritization skills.
-Strong written English language skills.
-Ability to manage multiple projects/proposals and determine priority
