Participate in APMP/APMP-NCA GWU Grant

APMP International (APMP) and the National Capital Area Chapter (APMP-NCA) have awarded a $10,000 grant to the George Washington University (GWU), Department of Organizational Sciences and Communication. The project will investigate how Government and contractors communicate, collaborate, and synergize to meet agency business goals. The findings will help explain how Government agencies and contractors can improve business relationships.

Elizabeth Davis, PhD, Director/Associate Professor Organizational Sciences at GWU is directing the study. She is being assisted by Kathryn Newcomer of GWU and Janet Tinoco of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.

>>> GWU invites you to identify Government officials and their contractors to participate in this study. Here is a link to a recruiting script you can use to help obtain survey respondents: http://apmpnca.org/pdf/recruitmentscript.pdf (28KB PDF). The seal of approval from GWU’s Institutional Review Board is printed on the script. If you would like to participate, please email Dr. Davis at ebdavis@gwu.edu or call her at 202-994-1870.

Dr. Davis will present the status of her research at the APMP-NCA Annual Conference on October 12, 2010 during the lunch break.

Our chapter would also like to thank Beth Wingate, APMP Director of Education and Dr. Bob Frey, APMP Fellow of Successful Proposal Strategies, LLC for helping us administer the grant.
